Convert/Import AVCHD to Apple Aperture 3 for Multimedia Slideshow from Sony HDR-PJ30

Since Apple Aperture 3 or above, you can create a multimedia slideshow combining still photos, HD videos for presentation. However, if you have recorded AVCHD video with HD camcorders like Sony HDR-PJ30, HDR-CX700, you may face problem importing AVCHD files to Apple Aperture, e.g. Aperture 3 does not read the video clips. It is because that only the videos in .mov or .mp4 format are supported by Aperture 3.

Both Sony HDR-PJ30 and CX700V could save HD videos in 1920x1080/60p, which is not iMovie compatible.
