Upload Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 AVCHD Lite Videos to Myspace on Mac

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 is a great HD camera, which can capture and store videos in 720p AVCHD Lite format in .mts file extension. The AVCHD Lite compression provides HD video in small file size but high quality. I'd like to edit the video from ZS7 with Final Cut Pro 6 and upload the edited video to MySpace, but I was frustrated that AVCHD Lite could not be imported into FCP 6.
