Convert/Edit Panasonic HS700 1080/50p MTS to 720/25p WMV or F4V for Web Display

Panasonic HS700 is now very hot for its 1080/50p recording, with it, you can shoot fast movements, slow-motion with excellent image quality. We recently bought a Panasonic HDC-HS700 to replace the broken AVCHD camcorder for shooting interview/office based scenes and then upload to company website, or make some promotional advertisements, which will be used for company promotional DVD's and promotional web streaming. We usually need to use 1080 *720 WMV format for uploading to website after some steps of editing with iMovie on Mac when we used the older AVCHD camcorder, but after we recorded lots of footages with the new HDC-HS700, we found the footages can not loading to iMovie by any means, not even for web display.

After consulted with the Panasonic retailer, we were told that 1080/50p recording with MTS format is not the standard AVCHD format, almost all Mac attached software or other in the market can not support this format, so all we need to do is to convert HS700 1080/50p to standard AVCHD and then make a editing. And they recommended the AVCHD software made by Aunsoft. After searching, I found Aunsoft is always promoting the HS700 1080/50p conversion software, had a try and successfully converted the HS700 1080/50p footage to 1280 *720 WMV or F4V after doing some simply editing. (The editing functions I used are trimming, adding company log and then merging into one.) So I even need not to use iMovie. Very Nice. Last I just upload the video to website or make into DVD.

Simple Steps to Convert HS700 1080/50p MTS to 720/25p WMV or F4V for Web Display after Editing.
Step1: Download and launch Aunsoft Panasonic AVCHD Converter, please notice, use Mac version.
Step2: Click “Add” to import HS700 1080/50p MTS to the program
Step3: Edit the footages by clicking Edit button, then cut off unwanted parts, and select Add Image watermark to add the company Logo.

Step4: Select WMV or F4V from HD Video option, click settings to set video size to 1280 *720, framerate to 25p or 30p. (25p and 30p is good choice for people who want to make videos playing smoothly on web.)
Select format:

Set size to 1280*720, frame rate to 25fps.

Step5. Check box of “Merge into one file” and click Convert to start HS700 1080/50p MTS to 720/25p WMV or F4V conversion.

After conversion, just upload the converted 720/25p WMV or F4V to website for displaying. Hope it helps.
