The Netgear EVA9150 is the successor to the EVA8000, which won a Best Buy award in our last group test. The new model has some significant improvements, including an easily accessible 500GB hard disk and support for an even wider range of HD video formats and protected WMA-DRM10 files. Netgear EVA9150 offers equally strong video support as follow:
Video file formats: AVI, DivX, Xvid, WMV9, MOV, M4V, VOB, MPG, MP1, MP2, MP4, ISO, IFO, MKV (with AC3 only), TS, M2TS, PS
Audio formats: MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, FLAC, WMA-Pro, M4A, M4P, AC3, DTS Passthrough, PCM, LPCM
From above info, we can find MTS format is not supported by Netgear EVA9150, but now many AVCHD camcorders like Panasonic HS900, TM-700, TM80, Panasonic AF100, Panasonic HDC-SD5, Panasonic SD900, Canon Vixia HD Camcorder, Canon VIXIA HFM300, Canon HF M41 HD, Sony HDR-SR8E, Sony CX700V, etc give recordings with .mts as extension, which are not supported by Netgear EVA9150. So if you want to play MTS files from camcorders to EVA9150, I will recommend two ways to achieve it.
First Method, you can rename the MTS extension to M2TS or TS, it will play fine. But his method may not work with all the MTS files.
Second Method, download a powerful MTS Codec software. Aunsoft Final Mate is such a MTS decoder which helps to decode and convert camcorder MTS files to WMV, MPG, AVI, MP4, MOV, VOB etc with high quality in fast speed. Then you can put MTS streams to Netgear EVA9150 for playing.

Launch Final Mate, click on Resource Tab and click Add button to browse your PC and select the path stored your video files. Then all AVCHD clips stored on PC hard drive will be listed on Resource Tab.
Step2. Convert MTS files to WMV/MPG/AVI/MP4/MOV/VOB, etc for Netgear EVA9150.
Select all the files displayed under Resource Tab by using Ctrl + A. Then drag and drop them to Movies Tab to create a new movie and join clips into one. There will be a pop-out window asking for creating a single movie or multiple movies, you can choose “Create A Single Movie” to merge all MTS files into one for conversion.
Step3. Start conversion from MTS to Netgear EVA9150 supported formats.
Click on Export button and follow Common Formats > HD Video > HD WMV, HD MPG, or HD AVI, or HD MP4, or HD MOV, etc to convert MTS format to Netgear EVA9150 supported format.
Tips:
You can edit your videos like trimming, cropping, deinterlacing, applying effect, adjusting volume, etc before conversion.
