Import/Edit Panasonic SDT750 AVCHD in After Effects on Mac Snow Leopard

In addition to taking 3D video, the Panasonic HDC-SDT750 is a superb camcorder in its own right. It is capable of taking stunning 1920 x 1080 Full HD video in all but the dimmest environments, with plenty of manual modes and features for hands-on videographers. I have bought a SDT750 for recording my family’s Disney travel and tried to load my HD videos from Panasonic HDC-SDT750 to Adobe After Effects on Mac Snow Leopard, but there is obvious error while importing the SDT750 MTS to After Effects. Adobe After Effects (AE) on Mac OS X must have decoded the Panasonic HD format from .mts to the format which AE supports, but SDT750 produced 1080 60p/50p MTS files, which are not supported by After Effects.

With this problem, you may want to get an effective way for smoothly editing the Panasonic HDC-SDT750 AVCHD files in Adobe AE. Aunsoft Final Mate for Mac is such a great program, which solves the problem and converts Panasonic SDT750 AVCHD to MPG/MOV for Adobe AE on Mac OS X. The videos play perfectly without choppy scrolling or interlaces.

Have a look at the following steps and enjoy the perfect conversion from Panasonic HDC-SDT750 camcorder to Adobe After Effects.

Step1. Capture/Import Panasonic SDT750 AVCHD files to Final Mate for Mac.

You will face a popup window asking for create a sing movie or create multiple movies, you can select create a single movie for stitching them together.

Step3. Convert/Transcode Panasonic AVCHD Files to After Effects.
Click the Export button and choose “Export into Editor”. Follow Adobe After Effect > Adobe After Effect MPEG-2 (*.mpg) or Adobe After Effect MOV (AVC) (*.mov) to choose export format for further editing in Adobe After Effects. Click OK to start converting Panasonic HDC-SDT750 1080p Full HD Videos to MPG/MOV for editing in Adobe After Effects at high definition.
