Stitch/Compose Sequential AVCHD MTS Videos to Popcorn Hour with lossless compression

If you are using Popcorn Hour C-200, A-200 as the Network Media Tank (NMT) for home entertainment, you may notice that the interface has been updated to Flash-based Networked Media Jukebox. It is said that you can make playlist of mts or m2ts files or simply place the files in a folder to play the sequential AVCHD files. However, there is delay between clips. This would be noticeable when playing videos shot by camcorders.

To play AVCHD files in row without playlist, or if your Popcorn Hour has not been updated yet, you can use Aunsoft Final Mate as the MTS/M2TS joiner with original video quality. The joining/merging process does not include reencoding, saving your time waiting for large files. You may also split/cut/trim part of the recorded videos to merge the particular segment as you like.

Here I would like to demonstrate the way to merge sequential AVCHD files I copied from Panasonic HDC-TM700 to my computer and join mts video clips into one movie file without any loss in quality.

Step 1. Import Panasonic HDC-TM700 mts to Aunsoft Final Mate.
Run Aunsoft Final Mate as MTS to Popcorn Hour assistant software for joining Panasonic HDC-TM700 mts sequences to play continuously. Click the Import button to browse multiple .mts files at a time, and the video clips with the same format or recording mode (fps, codec, bit rate) will be merged automatically as a movie on Aunsoft Final Mate.

Step 2. Adjust and compose mts video.
You can split, cut and delete the unwanted segment on timeline, add additional video clips with the same format.

If two events with the same format are created as one movie, you can also delete the video clips on the movie through timeline. Click the Add Blank button to create a new movie, double click on the new movie ID and go to the Files tab to drag and drop the video clip to timeline for the new movie.

Step 3. Export Panasonic HDC-TM700 MTS sequences with lossless compression.
Click the Export button on timeline, and the default exporting option is Lossless Output. Click the OK button to start merging Panasonic HDC-TM700 MTS sequences into one file.

Just wait for a while, and you will get the mts file with merged video clips. Please note that if there are several movie IDs on Final Mate, you will get different .mts files as output.

Tips:
Aunsoft Final Mate also works with other AVCHD camcorders, TOD camcorder and MOD camcorders like Panasonic HDC-TM700/SD700, HDC-SD600, HDC-HS250, Lumix DMC-ZS7/TZ10, Sony HDR-CX350/CS550, HDR-XR350/XR550/XR520/XR500, Canon HF S21/S200, Canon HF S100/S11, JVC Everio GZ-HD7, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX7/HX5V, etc.
