Smoothly Edit Panasonic AVCHD Videos in Adobe Premiere Pro and Burn to DVD

Working as an underwater videographer, I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my videos and burn to DVD disk. Recently I switched to High Definition equipment for high quality videos. The problem is that the Panasonic HDC-SDT750K AVCHD files imported to Adobe Premiere Pro are very jumpy when playback, and it is hard to work with. When it is time to make a DVD of the fully edited product, the result from Adobe Premiere Pro conversion and compression cause the images to appear slightly output focus.

We were desperate to find some other conversion and compression software to improve things. Aunsoft Final Mate seemed to be a good choice to try. I only used it for a short time, and so far the conversion process with the program works greatly. The output result works better on Adobe Premiere Pro comparing to the Adobe initial treatment of the video, and much easier to work with. The DVD is less out of focus.

To help others who may face similar problem like me, I would like share my experience of converting 2D AVCHD files from Panasonic HDC-SDT750 to WMV with Aunsoft Final Mate.

1. Run Aunsoft Final Mate as AVCHD to Adobe Premiere Pro converter, click Import button to load AVCHD videos.

2. Aunsoft Final Mate will list the videos, and I just need to click the Export button.

3. Click the Export to Editor button and choose Adobe Premiere > Adobe Premiere WMV (VC-1) (*.wmv) as output format, and click OK button to start conversion.


Hope it help you resolve jumpy video problem in Adobe Premiere Pro and enjoy the editing on PC. It is claimed that it will utilize NVIDIA CUDA or Intel CPU to accelerate the conversion speed.
