Play Panasonic TM700 MTS to MKV/MOV for HDTV NAS with Mac Mini and WD Live

I have recently bought Panasonic HDC-TM700 as my first HD camcorder for capturing 1080/60p videos. However, there are not many editors or converter for this kind of 1080/60p AVCHD files. I would like to put the videos to my NAS, so that I can watch them on HDTV using a Mac mini or WD Live.
