- Manually copy and transfer AVCHD files from HDcam to computer.
For camcorders with internal flash memory or hard drive, you will notice that CAM_MEM as external drive on computer. If connected with SD card on camcorder, you will also get CAM_SD as external drive. For videos recorded on camcorder flash memory, you will find the AVCHD files manually from CAM_MEM > AVCHD > BDMV > STREAM. To find AVCHD .mts or .m2ts files from camcorder SD card, you shall go to CAM_SD > PRIVATE > AVCHD > BDMV > STREAM.
If you are not sure about the file structure, just copy the AVCHD folder from flash drive or SD card to computer hard drive or external hard drive disk as archive.

Step 1. Connect camcorder to computer.
Use USB cable to connect camcorder to computer, turn on camcorder and choose the PC mode on the camcorder LCD screen when you face the option for PC or Burner.
Step 2. Backup camcorder videos to computer.

*You may face the window to choose camcorder internal flash memory or SD card, if you connect camcorder to computer with SD card.

Step 3. Backup camcorder video files.
Click the Finished button on the bottom-right corner and camcorder video backup tool will start copying and transferring video files from camcorder to computer or external hard drive disk.
