I'd like to show the wedding recordings to my friends and classmates via DVD and projectors in Europe. As we all know, media for showing digital video in Europe is in PAL. So the difficulty of editing, burning and playing NTSC AVCHD video recordings in Europe makes me quite annoyed.

To help more camcorder owners, now I am here to share the detailed guide on how I can transcode Canon NTSC AVCHD video files to PAL MPEG-2 step by step.
Step 1. Load Canon NTSC ACVHD files to Aunsoft MTS Converter for Mac.
Run this software as the best NTSC to PAL Converter and click "Add" button to import NTSC ACVHD recordings to be converted. Another way is dragging and dropping specified AVCHD files to this program. Batch video files are allowed to be loaded, so merging several video files into one can be realized by ticking the checkbox of “Merge into one file”.
Step 2. Choose HD MPEG-2 as the output video format.
You can choose MPEG-2 HD Video from HD Video section in the Format drop-list to keep original HD video in 1920*1080 resolution.
Step 3. Convert NTSC video to PAL one.
To change NTSC to PAL, you should change NTSC bitrate 60p or 30p to 25p for PAL by clicking “Settings” button. There you can choose 25p as the imported video bitrate.
Step 4. Start this conversion from NTSC ACVHD to PAL MPEG-2 for DVD.
Click “Convert” button under the preview window and this program will begin this conversion immediately with extreme conversion speed.
Once this conversion is completed, burn imported MPEG-2 files to DVD and share them via LCD projector.
